This is a set of charming EPs for children that were released by the HMV Junior Record Club in the early 1960s. As well as educational records there were many dramatised stories, read or narrated by famous actors. Among the earliest was a series of Beatrix Potter stories – all narrated by Vivien Leigh. Fiona Bentley Production with music and lyrics by Cyril Ornadel and David Croft. Released in 1960 on the HMV label – 7EG. Most of the Junior Record Club EPs were pressed on coloured vinyl. These are all bright red.

The records are all still in an excellent condition with clean covers and sharp corners on most record sleeves.

I have carefully checked each individual record for scratches and can only find very minor scratches on one or two of them, most are near perfect!

A delightful rare and collectable set.
