Description

Beautiful VG++ Mono 2nd pressing of John Coltrane’s masterpiece Giant Steps, Atlantic 1311. Absolutely lovely early 2nd pressing (1960) of this landmark LP with deep groove purple and orange “swirl” labels.


Cover: EX brilliant and glossy with tiny bit of flaking on lower righthand edge that does not detract from its overall beauty. Back cover is clean with some foxing from age, along with the name of the previous owner stamped as well as written in tiny handwriting. No seam splits. See photos for details.


Vinyl: VG++ glossy and clean with one or two cosmetic marks that have no effect on play. No skips, clicks, or pops. Gigantic soundstage will knock you over. There are some very light and unobtrusive spotted discolorations on deep groove record labels from what appears to be original printing job. Great daily use copy for your listening pleasure. LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
