Description

An original 1st press of THE DEBUT on UK Polydor. Matrix A1/B4. Textured original 1st issue labels from '67. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In excellent order and has only seen light careful use. Often found having seen excessive use - this one is only exhibiting very light signs of use. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. The main issue with this title is a lot of the audio is lowkey and almost orchestral in parts. Which means after 50 years of use - many will be a bit sub-par. Occasionally you can manage to snag a lightly used example - which is what we have here. Very nice and clean signalled - allowing these 60's classic tracks to flow unhindered. Minimal signs of background - at worst a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) Smart looking cover - they're usually trashed. Clean and flat front with just a couple of thumbnails. The rear usually ages quite a bit or has writing all over it. This example has avoided much of the ageing process - just a light touch at extremities. Lightest edge wear and sharp openings. Bit of wear on spine - text 80% legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
