Description
The very first Australian Bee Gees 45 - from 1963 - the beginnings of a great career for the Gibb Brothers. A succession of poor-selling 45's were issued on Leedon here for a period of 3 years prior to them returning to the UK where they enjoyed huge world-wide success. The Leedon 45's are coveted by collectors throughout the world. This is probably the most significant of them all, being the very first, and also appears on the early black Label when all later releases from the 2nd 45 onwards were on the white and pink label. An historic rarity, a promo copy complete with copy of a promo sheet that accompanied a very small number of radio station copies!!

Condition: VG+/EX- Both sides would be excellent except for a long small mark along the "A" side disc and label, this does not affect play or sound of the record at all though, a very shiny and rarely-played radio station copy - see scans. Has a test pressing sticker but the release date sticker has been partially removed. A very acceptable copy of a super-rarity!! Comes in original plastic Festival generic sleeve.
