Description
Here is a nice copy of a promo only Maxi EP with songs from "Saturday Night Fever" by The Bee Gees on RSO Records PRO 033 from 1977. It contains five songs from "Saturday Night Fever," four by The Bee Gees and one by Yvonne Elliman.
Apparently, the special disc was released to radio stations and DJ's ONLY, with all five songs in "Special Disco Versions" as the front cover states. I am not sure if these are the original, famous songs from SNF, or if they are actually "Special Disco Versions" that may have been recorded hotter or whatever.
I play tested some of the vinyl. Side One looks Mint and it played in Mint condition. There was total silence in the lead-in grooves and the sound was dynamic! Side Two the vinyl looks Mint-, but it also played Mint, with silence in the lead-in grooves and it also sounded dynamic!
The custom cover is all intact with no splitting. It has yellowed somewhat over the past 45 years (Really 45 years since SNF!). On the back there is one small stain near the left edge. Otherwise, it is in nice shape.
This rare promo record is a great souvenir of those wild and crazy disco days!
