Description
This is a very rare 7inch EP from the Bee Gees released in Australia in 1965 on Leedon records catalogue number LX-11099. The record is in excellent condition, there are a couple of minor creases to the slip cover, it has been stored in a plastic sleeve so it is clean.
There are four tracks on Side One: 1 Wine and Women 2 Follow The Wind and Side Two: 1 Peace of Mind 2 Don't Say Goodbye
A rare opportunity to own an early Bee Gees release - the notes on the back begin with "One of the most promising vocal groups on the Australian scene at present" and end with "The Bee Gee's main ambition is to last in popularity as long as the Mills Brothers, and to tour the United States." Well they certainly achieved that.
Selling for a friend who bought this new shortly after release while working as a crew member on cargo ships and so in that region of the world. The reserve reflects the rarity and value placed on the record by the current owner.
