Deutsche Grammophon - 2721 200 (2563 795–802) - Beethoven - The Nine Symphonies - Herbert Von Karajan. Limited edition: No.78. Printing on box is in English, not German, making this, it appears, the release for the English speaking countries and even more hard to find than the German release.

Original, thick, plastic, printed slipcase. Leather-bound box. Includes numbered certificate, hand-signed by Herbert Von Karajan! ....as shown. This is no.78.
Incl. thick 24 page booklet with lots of colour photos and accompanying text in English - NOT German. The German text issue of this box set is the only one that is mentioned on Discogs. NOT this one at all. Since more people can read and understand English, than German, I assume having English text in the booklet makes it more practical - if not, desirable.

Also includes a colour, foldout poster of Herbert Von Karajan.
The plastic slipcase has quite a bit of rubbing and scuffs etc.. Not noticable when the box is inside it. It has 2 splits and a hole in it at the spine, also. All printing is legible. Grade slipcase as VG only.
Box is NM. Discs are NM. Booklet NM. Certificate EX+. Poster EX+.

Good opportunity to buy this lovely item.
