Beethoven's nine symphonies, Karajan box set on EMI (UK) SLS 5053. Conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra (so 1950s I believe). Great recordings!
This was the only thing I had kept when I cleared my record collection of Karajan recordings. These are fantastic recordings of the nine symphonies (especially the seventh!) but I'd rather not have any of Karajan's records on my shelves.
If it went to any of the places that I bring albums these days it would probably end up in a dumpster so I'd rather sell it here for a little & to cover the shipping so someone can enjoy it.
All seven LPs are NM-, although the LP with the seventh could use a cleaning because it was the one I have listened to the most. The box has some wear to the edges and corners but is not torn through and the seam is intact. It's a great copy of this particular set.
