Beethoven: 'Archduke' Trio - David Oistrakh Trio Columbia SAX 2352 ED1 LP.

This album has traveled through time rather well - I have to give it an overall grading of Very Good.
The cover is strong, with no lifting of the flipback edges on the rear, a strong spine and only slightly rounded corners. The front is still glossy, with the original round EMI sticker which has been lightly peeled back on the bottom left. A few creases from storage with a light indentation following the outer ring of the LP.
Rear cover has discolouration of the unlaminated back and a faint stain ( possibly brandy?! ) on the extreme right hand side. This has not changed the texture of the card or obscured any of the print. The ZT tax code stamp is intact and is a nice feature.
The record is just short of Very Good. The labels are immaculate, no spindle marks and the centre hole is excellent.
There are quite a few visible surface marks, likely due to handling and storage rather than any misuse, however none of these are identifiable as audio disruptions. The record plays through without alarming pops, does not skip and the music retains a nice clarity. However, there is a continuous light crackling which seems most pronounced at the outer edge of the record. It is never overpowering, but it is there.
A wonderful record though, I wish mine were a slightly better copy.
