Beethoven Archduke Trio David Oistrakh Trio UK Columbia SAX 2352
On this famous and extremely rare stereo recording, the David Oistrakh Trio (Oistrakh, Knushevisky and Oborin) performs the Beethoven Trio No. 7, the “Archduke”. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2352), the labels are light blue/green with black lettering, silver “radio waves” and border, note Logo, and Made in Gt. Britain at 6 o’clock. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed a little and the back has discoloured slightly and overall is in excellent condition.
