Beethoven Cello Sonatas Fournier German DGG LPM 18 602
Pierre Fournier with Friedrich Gulda play the Beethoven “Cello Sonatas Op 69”, and “Op 102, No. 1”, and “Magic Flute” Variations. A German mono pressing on the Deutsche Grammophon Label (LPM 18 602), the labels are tuliped with “alle hersteller” at two o’clock. The record has a circular mark about a third of the way on both sides, but these appear to be superficial and do not affect the sound quality. Otherwise it is excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has rubbed with a ring, small creases along the spine, and the back is a little grubby with a name in pen.
