Description
Beethoven Cello Variations Francaix Gendron Phillips SAL
Cellist Maurice Gendron with French composer and pianist Jean Francaix plays the Beethoven “Twelve Variations” and “Seven Variations” from Mozart’s “Magic Flute”, and “Twelve Variations” from Handel’s “Judas Maccabeus” in addition to Schubert’s “Sonata for Arpeggione and Piano” D. 821. An English stereo pressing on the Phillips Label (SAL3746), the labels are plum coloured with silver lettering. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed a little.
All my records are visually checked under a strong light and play tested if any doubt as to condition. I take pride in making my descriptions as accurate as possible. View my other auctions more English and rare Classical Records.
