Beethoven: Concerto No.5 in E flat. op.73 “Emperor”

The Cleveland Orchestra, conductor: George Szell

Label: Columbia / Epic. E.M.I. SCX 3575 Stereo. Produced in 1961. Made in Great Britain. Factory sample. Very rare disk. Collectabilia for true collectors. Mint crazy hunters should not bid!

Record: near mint. Playing surfaces look like new. Visually inspected and fully played on my turntable Kenwood and Denon DL 160 System. Fully play rated as mint-. But I downgrade to your satisfaction to a total rating of near mint.

Cover: rates a near mint. Slightly discoloured at left edge of frontcover. 6 little stickers.Clarifoil laminated frontcover. Cover shows full tension, is crisp and sturdy. With company inner sleeve in vg+ condition. Conservatively rated.

Review: Very rare to find a copy like this! Outrageous sounding and artistic piano playing. One of the top records in my collection. Disk should benefit from being professionally cleaned by the Monk cleaning machine! Exclusive commentary from Cleveland on backcover.
