Description
Very rare and incredibly hard to find original Columbia stereo press on the original blue and silver label, SAX 2422.
Pressed in 1961' this first press comes in its original EMI Columbia inner sleeve and the cover is printed in England by Garrod And Lofthouse, Patents Pending.
visually the lp is in near perfect condition, no noticeable marks on the vinyl nor labels - the previous owner was meticulous in his care of his record collection.
On play there is only the faintest background noise on the quietest parts and the occasional light dusty tick (there are 3 light ticks close together 2/3 rds of the way through side 2) otherwise plays a very strong excellent throughout.
The cover is in very good condition with some light wear to the corners and edges. There is a little damage to the bottom right hand corner of the rear of the cover and some general yellowing of the card surface. Generally very acceptable, no writing, stains or tears.
Very nice copy indeed.
