BEETHOVEN "EROICA" SYMPHONY No3 IN E FLAT,Op 55.
GEORGE SZELL CONDUCTING THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA.

PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS BEFORE DECIDING TO BID AND READ DESCRIPTION. I AM NO RECORD DEALER SO I CANT GRADE THIS RECORD , BUT I WOULD SAY THE RECORD LOOKS EXCELLENT -
Here I have an extremely rare record. Columbia first press .red label.
The record is in very clean and nice condition and looks unplayed . A very shiny surface to both sides . There is a slight scratch or mark on side one , half inch long I don't know if this will affect the play (hardly visible) .. All the labels are perfect .There is a little spindle mark on either side but hardly visible by eye. There is no writing or marks on the labels .It looks unplayed to me . I have not played this record or had it cleaned . This is how I received it.( To be honest I am afraid of playing it .)
Matrix numbers are : SIDE 1 : BC 1001A-2E
SIDE 2 : BC 1001B-2E
The matrix numbers are at 6 o'clock.
There are matrix numbers at 12 o'clock . They are etched over and they are . SIDE ONE :BC - 1001A- 1B
SIDE TWO:BC- 1001B- 1B
There is also the code KT in the middle of the record.
There is also numbers at 3 and 9 o'clock on both sides they are . SIDE ONE number 1 at 9 o'clock and A1 at 3 o'clock .
SIDE TWO number 1 at 9 o'clock and A at 3 oclock
The cover is in very good condition . A laminated flip back cover .In very good condition. There are the usual marks and scuffed on the cover .I would say shelf wear. The spine is in very good + condition .all writing is clear to see on spine . On the the back of cover there is a rip .original EMI insert. . PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING.
EXTREMELY RARE . I HAVE TRIED MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THIS LP . SO PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AND I WILL DO MY UPMOST TO ANSWER .
