Description
Legendary Klemperer performance of Beethoven's Fidelio. Many feel this is the finest version ever recorded, the set garnered rave reviews when it was released in 1962. This set is in the same condition as the day it came out of the shop, i.e. mint condition, Box Booklet and LPs. Also I am including a full libretto which I obtained when the set was reissued in the 1970s. When originally issued these opera sets did not come with librettos. They had to be purchased seperately and sent away for.
Only played once with my Ortofon pickup tracking at one gram. This is a stunning recording in the best EMI early stereo tradition.
