This set is an incredible find. I'm still adding to my own collection of vinyl as it's possible to find sets of favorite pieces interpreted by tremendous musicians back to the 50's in good condition at very good prices, to compare with modern recordings on CD. 
Here's such an example, with an unexpected twist. It's all in Russian, on the well-regarded Melodya label and on heavyweight vinyl. It still contains the very skimpy album notes (one sheet, compared to the book in the Ashkenazy set on Philips I bought in the early 70's) and the inspection slip. 
The sleeves are heavyweight paper, with an inner plastic sleeve. This is the surprising part. The records will come out of the inner sleeves with care but won't go back in. In other words they are unplayed and have been protected from atmospheric dust all these years. I took the first disc out of its sleeve and played it once on a very fine turntable to assess the quality of the pressing. It's really very good.
So as I've got several sets of the Beethoven Piano Concertos already, I'm selling this one as it's more appropriate for a very serious collector - I'm a very serious player!
Everything is in pristine condition, the box is unmarked, with just a little depression on the top surface of the box. I'd have listed it as "NEW OTHER" if that was a choice, but only NEW and USED was offered in this category. It will be packed well and boxed with plenty of space around it - I won't squeeze it into an album mailer.
