Ludwig van Beethoven – Cello Sonatas Op. 5 Nos. 1 & 2 Pierre Fournier, Cello / Friedrich Gulda, Piano Deutsche Grammophon – SLPM 138 081 | Germany, June 1965 | Stereo Repress
Beautiful German stereo pressing of Beethoven’s first two sonatas for piano and violoncello, performed by the celebrated partnership of Pierre Fournier and Friedrich Gulda.
This is the June 1965 German repress, without the earlier red STEREO sticker presentation.
Vinyl: Strong VG++ to Near Mint
Exceptionally clean, attractive and deeply glossy vinyl. Only light superficial traces are visible. Conservatively graded VG++, but visually very close to Near Mint.
A particularly fresh and beautifully preserved record.
Cover: VG (Very Good)
The original cover shows clearly visible and stronger abrasion along the edges, borders and corners, together with general age-related surface wear.
Despite the pronounced edge wear, the cover is not seriously damaged. It remains complete, structurally intact and fully presentable, but is noticeably more worn than the covers of the other records in this series.
Please study all HD photographs carefully.
International bidders welcome. Secure shipping assured.
Grading Policy (GGS: Goldmine Grading Standard):
Mint (M): You can expect an unplayed, untouched record.
Near Mint (NM): Played once or twice at most, absolutely flawless and like new.
Very Good++ (VG++): Super clean with only tender surface marks or light scuffs.
Very Good (VG): Still enjoyable with visible signs of use; will be described in detail.
Everything below VG will be described precisely and honestly, so you can bid with full confidence.
