Beethoven Piano Sonatas Richter-Haaser UK Columbia SAX 2561
Hans Richter-Haaser performs Beethoven’s “Piano Sonatas” No’s 3, 22, and 26. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2561), the labels are red with white Columbia, Made in Great Britain at 6 o’clock and a fan shaped note logo. The record has a noticeable scuff on track two of side two which does not sound, and is of otherwise excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional low-level surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed with a ring and has creases in the laminate along the right-hand side.
