MOST RECORDS WILL HAVE THE OCASSIONAL CRACKLE OR DUST POP FROM STATIC EVEN WHEN NEW - THATS JUST HOW THEY ARE.!!!

MY DESCRIPTION OF THE RECORD AND COVER

original first pressing of this highly sought after recording on vinyl. on the extremely collectable columbia blue silver label. the record has the following identifiers

catalogue numbers on deadwax of YAX - 95 - 1 and Yax 95 -2 - the mother stampers on both sides are R1.

the lp weighs 185 grams and is therefore on a par with the audiophile weights that records are pressed on today here we are 55 years after this was pressed and using the standards that were the norm in the 1950's.

RECORD COVER -  the cover is in MINT always stored upright - smoke free environment so no nasty stains etc. 

COVER IS fully laminated - all of the flipbacks are fully glued down and are free from any damage. there are no stains or rips seam splits etc. the cover is in exceptional condition. it is as whie as the day it was pressed. there is absolutely no crazing or lifting of the laminate on any part of the sleeve. the lettering on the spine of the sleeve is in perfect condition. the cover has the EMI gold and red stereophonic sticker which is in perfect condition there is no wear of fading of this.

the lp comes in its original inner sleeve which is in perfect condition and does not have any damage or splist or creasing. the condition of the sleeves should be clear from the photos.

RECORD / VINYL -

play tested prior to listing - i have listened to it prior to listing and the sound on both sides is MINT  - the lp retains its as new sheen - i have only listened to this record twice during the time i have had it and judging from its condition i doubt it has been played more than 3 or 4 times during its lifetime.

RECORD LABELS

The blue silver columbia labels are in perfect condition with no damage.

GRADING USED

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
