Description
For sale is a copy of Beethoven's 4th Symphony and the Consecration of the House overture, with Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia. Columbia SAX 2354 on the original blue and silver label.
The record and label are in EX+/NM condition. Under a bright light I'm not able to see any marks or damage to the record. Sample plays (not the whole record) show no problems (just very, very light, unintrusive surface noise as present on the day the record was made), and I've played enough to rule out otherwise invisible groove damage.
The inner sleeve appears to be the original - uncreased, though perhaps not quite as white as when it was new.
The outer sleeve is in EX condition overall. No significant creases or ringwear, though there is some wear to the opening edge. There is no foxing or damp/fusty smell to the cover. The EMI Stereophonic sticker is in reasonable condition, though has some minor edge wear. The unlaminated rear is clean, and free from fading/darkening/foxing.
I'm a collector rather than a dealer - my gradings are honest rather than optimistic and I'm just clearing out some duplicates acquired recently.

The record and sleeve will be separated (to prevent ringwear damage) during transit, with both items placed in a sturdy cardboard sleeve. I'm also selling two other Beethoven/Klemperer Columbia records (symphonies 1 & 8 and 2 - similar age and condition), and will gladly combine postage.
