Beethoven Symphony 9 Klemperer UK Columbia SAX

Loveberg, Ludwig, Kmentt and Hotter with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Otto Klemperer perform the Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven. A two record set, this is an original English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2276 /7). The labels are light blue/green with black lettering, silver "radio waves" and border, note logo and Made in Gt. Britain at 6 o’clock. There is small hole near the start of side two - perhaps a needle damage, or a pressing fault it is hard to say – but this causes only a dozen or so minor clicks. Otherwise the records are of MINT appearance, and play and sound superb, with a minimum of surface noise. The covers laminate has rubbed a little, but these are also excellent. Postage to the U.S. and Asia is $10.50 – slightly more to Europe and elsewhere. Add $2.50 for each additional record purchased from my auction. Payment by credit card, cash or Paypal is preferred.
