Beethoven Symphony No.9 in D Minor Op.125 on vinyl E.M.I./H.M.V. ALP 1286-7
Beethoven "Choral" Symphony with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Elisabeth Hongen, Hans Hopf, Otto Edelmann and the Orchestra and Chorus of the 1951 Bayreuth Festival conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler.
There are very small marks on both sides of both discs. These cause a very slight pop/crackle, but overall both records sound very good. Both discs have some slight wear at spindle holes. Sleeve of 1286: very slight imprint of disc, small black mark and bumped at front bottom right corner, small piece missing at bottom rear left and the rear is slightly grubby. Sleeve of 1287: the front is a bit grubby, shows disc imprint, has very slight creases in laminate and has bottom right corner bumped, rear is slightly grubby and shows disc imprint. Both inner sleeves are yellowed and have creased corners.
