BEETHOVEN
SYMPHONY NO 9 'CHORAL'
WILHELM FURTWANGLER  conducting the orchestra and chorus of the 1951 Bayreuth festival
RARE HMV ALP 1286 / 1287 UK ED1 RED/GOLD MONO 2 LP SET 2N/2N matrices.
SLEEVES VG+  a bit battered to be honest...some lifting of the laminate to fronts, original scalloped flipbacks, some heavier shelfwear, tears/split on edges.
VINYL VG+ discs still have gloss to surface,  but a few light hairlines and flecks, not many.- with light crackle during play and an occasional pops and ticks. still playable, still enjoyable. very respectable for thier age!

  • discs are cleaned on PROJECT VCS 2 and play graded.

  • packed correctly in quality cruciform record mailers, removed from sleeve

NM (near mint):    flawless vinyl. possibly superlight sleeverub/spindle marks.

NM-: Almost NM. There may be a few more v light, non-sounding wispy sleeverub/spindle marks. But great vinyl.

Ex+: one or two very light, non-sounding hairline marks.

Ex:   A few more hairline / light marks. Maybe the odd pop or crackle

Ex minus : A few more hairline and light marks still. background noise/crackle with the occasional pop, and tick in places.

VG+:  Quite a few marks./surface noise.
