A very rare set made even more rare by outstanding condition it is in. With expection of Record 1, records are in nearly mint condition. Both sides of Record 1 have a few scuffs and a few hairline scratches but none can be felt and none affect sound. Side 1 of Record 1 has a small factory defect (a pucker) which creates faintly audible thump on a few revolutions.
Records all play with amount of noise one expects from unplayed records. Feel free to ask for audio samples of any part of any record.
Condition of cover:
Cover is in good condition. Some yellowing at binding. Some bowing of side walls. A bit of wear at corners.
Condition of poster and booklet:
Poster and 48 page booklet that came with set are in nearly perfect condition.
How I grade:
My grading is based mostly on visual examination. Records are inspected under strong lighting. Audio is tested if records have scuffs, scratches, or factory defects which might affect sound.
Vinyl:
M- (mint minus): Vinyl has no visible scuffs or scratches. For all intents and purposes, vinyl is flawless.
NM (near mint): Vinyl has no scratches but has a few light scuffs which cannot be felt with fingertip.
VG+ (very good plus): Vinyl has scuffs and/or scratches which cannot be felt with fingertip.
VG (very good): Vinyl has scuffs and/or scratches but only one or two can be felt with fingertip.
G (good): Vinyl has scuffs and/or scratches some of which can be felt with fingertip.
Cover:
Condition of cover is described.
Audio samples:
10 second audio samples in MP3 format can be made upon request. Records will be played on new Numark PT-01 turntable.
Payment:
Payment must be made within 5 days after end of auction.
Shipping and handling:
Shipping weight may be close to 7 pounds. Item will be packed securely and shipped within 4 days after end of auction.
Refunds:
