Virtuoso Violinist David Oistrakh, Rare and sought after Audiophile UK 1st pressing on the Columbia Blue and Silver Stereo Label, SAX 2315


Visually under very bright light the vinyl has a bright sheen. The record has loads of light wispy play traces, hairlines and light scuff traces. The record has a small edge warp** - however this has no effect on the audio whatsoever. The record plays well, bright bold and crisp, with good rich tone synonymous with early Columbia Stereo Recordings. There is fairly regular light background surface noise in places (this is worse to side 2), some crackle to side 2. Some ticks here and there. A couple of passages of repeating light background ticks. The record will benefit from cleaning. Overall Audio – VG/VG+


The labels are clean, some light spindle traces, EX-


The sleeve is a decent example, has some light creasing, and light dirtying to the rear, See photos VG+
