Beethoven Violin Sonatas 1 & 8 Rostal UK Decca LXT
This rare recording features Max Rostal with Franz Osborn playing the Violin Sonata’s No’s 1 and 8 of Beethoven. An English mono pressing on the Decca Label (LXT 2752 stampers 1B/1B), the labels are orange with gold lettering and this is a "pancake" pressing. The record has a few pressing dimples and small marks and is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with low level surface noise, and occasional crackle. The cover has some wear along the spine edge and pencil timings on the back and otherwise is excellent. Payment by credit card, or Paypal is preferred –direct debit available to Australian buyers. Postage by Standard Airmail (7 to 10 days) to the U.S. or Asia is $8.50 - slightly more to Europe and elsewhere. Add $2.50 only for each additional record purchased from my auction.
