Description
Hard to find Classical LP: Beethoven: Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op.61. David Oistrakh; French National Radio Orchestra conducted by Andre Cluytens. 1959 UK stereo pressing on the Blue/Silver COLUMBIA label. Cat No: SAX 2315. Laminated sleeve has some light laminate edge creases (no damage to laminate); some light corner wear; more noticeable to top right corner. There is a light rectangular, barely noticeable stain near the top left corner. The rear sleeve has two marks where, I assume, cellotape was removed. No major faults to sleeve and very nice spine. Sleeve strictly graded EX. Vinyl has light spindle wear. The label on side one is clean but has a small abrasion below the t on the stereo (see photo); the label on side two is clean and clear. The vinyl has a perfect sheen. There are a couple of light marks that are only visible if held at an angle to a bright light. I have played both sides of the LP. There is only the occasional very light background, primarily at the beginning of side two. Superb sound quality. Vinyl strictly graded EX+. With original company inner sleeve.
Unfortunately due to fake bids on several records and additonal suspected fraudulent activity, I am no longer willing to sell items and ship to the Russian Federation or the Ukraine. Sincere apologies to any previous buyers from these countries, but it`s becoming more than a nuisance.
