I can't believe what the vinyl edition of this album sells for these days. I have a sealed copy. It was given to me as a gift. I always listened to the CD, so these LPs never left their shrink wrap. Check the pictures out. That's what I've got. I'm starting the bid at a price lower than the bottom of what I saw on Discogs because I'd rather it go for what the winning bidder feels comfortable paying rather than just straight-up declaring, "Hey, this OOP Crowes album is worth $200! Gimme gimme gimme!"
I'm in the States. The barcode reads 020286136316, so I'm assuming this is the Black 180g edition, and not the colored vinyl, which I think was exclusive to Europe, etc. Just a heads up on that front.
I'm a huge Crowes fan from a long time ago. I was at one of the Cabin Fever shows that yielded the material for this release. I didn't realize their OOP vinyl had become a whole big money thing. I'm not looking to exploit their legacy, but at the same time, the market is what it is. Plus, I'd like to buy a new turntable, and the proceeds from this sale will help towards that goal. That way, when my kids roll their eyes at me and ask why I've bought more stereo equipment, I can turn and say, "Your old man sold some old records that people wanted. This isn't from your college fund. Calm down!"
Or something like that.
