Description
This listing consists of two boxed sets as described below:
Bela Bartok "At the Piano, 1920 - 1945. Hungaroton LPX 12326-33. Boxed set of eight discs and two booklets. This item was deaccessioned by a local university library. The file and venue stickers on the outside and inside of the cover are unfortunate, because this set is otherwise in near-mint condition. Two of the cover stickers have been slightly pulled back at a corner, as shown, which suggests removal without damage to the cloth cover might be possible… but no guarantees. The hinged box is slightly separated (1 ½”) at the top rear edge. Happily, both booklets and all eight discs are flawless -- high gloss, with no signs of wear or damage. I’d think some curious student would have perused this during the past 30+ years, but by appearances the booklets were unread and the discs unplayed.
Bela Bartok "Plays and Talks, 1912 - 1944." Hungaroton LPX 12334-38. Boxed set of five discs and two booklets. This item also was deaccessioned by a local university library and the condition is virtually identical -- file stickers, possibly removable, and two tiny corner nicks on the box. Inside, both booklets and all five discs are flawless -- high gloss, with no signs of wear or damage -- and by appearances unused.
