Condition: Vinyl play graded at VG+ - glossy surface, no marks (only a little surface crackle here and there which doesn’t seem to come from any visible marks in pressing, so probably comes from the original transfer from 78 to 45). Labels a VG- grade because there is some wear, plus a small sticker name label. Recommended you enlarge photos and take a closer look! But over all, a very nice sounding record that will play great in any system.
Notes: Grabado en Cuba (Recorded In Cuba) at the RCA studios in Havana. Canta: Joseíto Nuñez (Vocal: Joseito Nuñez, who was also the vocalist for Arsenio Rodríguez y su Conjunto y later El Septeto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro). This is a hard to find 45 from the golden era of Cuban charanga with an awesome version of the Sexteto Habanero Felipe Neri Cabrera classic "Como Está Miguel (Bururú Barará)" on one side and the equally great Ignacio Piñeiro Septeto Nacional classic "Donde Estabas Anoche” - two important tracks by Belisario López Y Su Orquesta from before Belisario López Rossi left Cuba for New York, with Joseíto Nuñez, the distinctive Afro-Cuban voice of many important recordings by Arsenio Rodríguez. Like all USA RCA Victor pressings from the 1950s, this is a nice one and sounds great. A welcome addition for any Cuban music collector.
