Belly Dance Spectacular Rhythms From The Middle East LP 1974
1974
A wonderful example of older belly dance music. If you love a melodramatic piano, an organ pretending to be a mizmar, and other early-70s orchestration, you will love this album.
Each side has exactly two tracks... each a half hour long and containing many tunes. 
 I don't know exactly how old these tracks are, because most of the info is in Arabic
There are actually some very nice taxims on and a classic tabla solo.
Collectors of raqs sharki music need to own a copy of this. 
Think this is the lesser spotted original 74 release, not the more common 80s re-issue.
The wierdest red parlophone label you'll ever see.

A Lebanese record, printed in Greece. 
Guaranteed amusement and enjoyment
the inner sleeve is a bit worn, but the covers of other records in the same style printed there are a joy.
The back cover is a lot of visual fun
