Description
Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals LP Vinyl - Burn To Shine.
First EU Pressing - Virgin - VUSLP 160, 7243 8 48151 1 0.
Outer sleeve - (VG+) - Outer sleeve is nice and clean for the most part with some rubbing to the back part of the gatefold at the top and bottom. Light creasing along the sides, light ringwear.
Inner Sleeve - (EX) - Inner sleeves are nice and clean. One is whiter than the other.
Vinyl - (VG - EX) - Vinyl visually graded under a bright light bulb.
Disc 1 - Side A - (VG+ - EX) - Vinyl looks nice and clean for the most part with signs of a few - several light looking surface scratches which will not affect the vinyl playing very well.
Side B - (VG - VG+) - Vinyl looks relatively nice and clean but with signs of several - many light looking surface scratches / hairlines which should not affect the vinyl playing very well with the right stylus / set of decks with the chance of some light distortion in places. I feel that with the right set up the vinyl should play to a VG+ standard.
Disc 2 - Side C - (VG+) - Vinyl looks nice and clean for the most part with signs of a few - several light looking surface scratches / hairlines which should not affect the vinyl playing very well especially with the right stylus / set of decks / set up.
Side D - (VG) - Vinyl looks relatively nice and clean but with signs of several - many light looking surface scratches / hairlines which should not affect the vinyl playing very well with the right stylus / set of decks with the chance of some light distortion in places. There is one semi deep looking surface scratch on track one but I do not think that it will cause a skip with the right set up. May click. I feel that with the right set up the vinyl should play to a VG standard at least and possibly a VG+ standard.
Record Collectors Grading system Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
