Rare album, only 1,500 pressed. Ben Harper's first album - recorded 15th March, 1992

George Cardas was meant to be recording another artist that day, got the studio all set-up then the original session cancelled. Ben Harper & his friend Tom Freund stepped in at the last minute

Beautiful one-take recording straight to tape using a couple of omni-directional mics. Sounds geeky, but the simple old-fashioned approach to recording really shows in the intimacy of this album

Satisfying even placing the 180gm vinyl onto the turntable...

Near mint condition, only slight wear on a couple of the sleeve corners. Original plastic sleeve

Reason I'm parting with it is that I'm about to move flat, haven't had a working record player for the last few years so can't really justify lugging all my records in another move - time to get rid of the whole lot sadly
