Description

Trumpet player logo, yellow label, deep groove. Webster, tenor sax on all tracks. On 5 tracks Webster is joined by Benny Carter, alto sax; Harry"Sweets"Edison, trumpet; Oscar Peterson, piano; Herb Ellis, guitar; Ray Brown, bass; Alvin Stoller, drums. 3 tracks also include Peterson, piano; Brown, bass; Barney Kessel, guitar; J.C.Heard, drums.l

Cover: VG(-) 10" split on the top edge with a fragment of scotch tape. The bottom edge has completely split and is held together with 3 - 1" pieces of scotch tape. Light aging and light soil from handling on the front and back cover. Fine, uncredited photo of Webster on the front cover.

Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a small number of very light brush-like marks on the surface. There is a small amount of very light groove noise on Track 1, Side A. Also, 3 or 4 small intervals of light groove noise on Side B as well as a very few light clicks on 1 or 2 tracks. Overall fine sound with a minimum of interference. Heavy vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
