Description

This is the classic recording of Britten's Noye's Fludde on the original Argo oval label, catalogue number ZNF1. Noe's Fludde is a Chester Miracle Play, and this version was recorded at the XIVth Aldeburgh Festival. In fantastic condition, this record comes with the rare booklet which is in almost timewarp condition!
Condition

  • The record grades as excellent (Ex). There are a few light marks and the occasional light crackle, but nothing serious.  
  • The laminated sleeve is in excellent (Ex) condition. The spine is fully readable, and there virtually no edge wear or feathering. There is a little ring wear evident, a light crease across the top front right corner, and a couple of small brownish 'age spots' on the rear.
  • The booklet insert is in near mint (NM) condition. There are perhaps just very light signs of handling, but no tears or other marks. There can't be many left in this sort of condition!
  • The record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine and placed in a new inner sleeve. The original inner is also included.
  • Both record and sleeve are in a new protective outer sleeve.

Records are securely packaged in a strong Defendapack record mailer, and UK postage includes signed for delivery and insurance. Records are removed from the sleeve before packing to prevent splits. 

I also offer local pick up in the East Sussex area.
