ARTIST  - BENNIE GREEN TITLE - BACK ON THE SCENE LABEL - BLUE NOTE CATALOG NO - 1587
This is a tough record to grade. It is a highly desirable and very collectible original Blue Note LP. It has "RVG" and the ear symbol in the dead wax. It has the back of the cover stamped with "Sample Copy, Not For Sale." The vinyl looks pretty darn good, maybe a couple of scuffs, some very good gloss. However, the bad news, it does have a slight edge warp which causes a lift on the first track and some mild surface noise from this. The surface noise calms down after about a minute or so. I have a clip from the actual first track of this record so you can determine if you can live with this imperfection. Side Two track one has the same kind of surface noise, yet it does have some pitting type scuffs which effects play at times. All the other tracks look great and should play as such. Some would grade at a VG- but due to the overall appearance I bumped it to a VG. The cover is pretty sweet, a strong VG++ it is all intact, strong spine, no splits, just some writing on the back as shown in the pic. I also have a pic of the record sitting on my turn table so you can see the edge warp.  thanks for looking...........................................................................
