Description
Title: Bennie Green "Swings The Blues" w. Sonny Clark, Jimmy Forest, George Tucker, Paul Gusman (Recorded 1961)
Catalog: Enrica Records LP 2002 (mono)
Remarks: Enrica is a VERY RARE jazz label which was established in 1959 by Teddy McRae. After the labeled folded in the early 60s, "Benny Swings the Blues" was reissued a on a budget label (named MVM) and recently it has been reissued on a Spanish jazz label as an lp. To my knowledge, only three lps were recorded on the original Enrica label, one of which was never issued: Linton Garner (#2001), Bennie Green (#2002), and Don Ellis (unissued???). A must for the rare jazz collector. Most of the titles from this LP are Green originals.
Cover Grade: VG++ (clean laminated front cover, no other seam splits/writing on the top of back cover)
Record Grade: VG++ (some hair-like scuffs on both sides of record/no scratches)
Label: gold and pink label, deep groove, two spindle marks on both sides of record
