This is an auction of a very rare Blue Note ORIGINAL JAZZ CLASSIC - Bennie Green - Soul Stirrin' - BLUE NOTE BLP-1599 MONO with the 47 WEST 63rd DG deep groove labels. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder - an "ear" and 'RVG" stamped in the deadwax trailoff of both sides. A great sublime jazz classic and Blue Note rarity. With "Jug" and Billy Root on saxes and Elvin Jones on drums. Please see the ENLARGED PHOTOS for more details.
Record is VISUALLY graded as Mint- and PLAY GRADES Mint-, cover presents well from the front but is VG++ to VG+ due to a name written on back and slight wear at the front lower right corner tip and the original price sticker at that corner.
