Description

Vinyl Condition: VG+ (visual; centered pressing, no warps; listen below) Jacket Condition: VG+ (thick cardboard, lays flat, no splits; spine has chipping but still in tact; see photos)
Original 1956 pressing with deep groove, flat edge (yes, the older Prestige LPs were pressed by Plastylite and had flat edges too) and "RVG" etched in the dead wax. This is a rare title that to my knowledge has only been reissued once in Japan and never in the US. Cleaned with a VPI HW-16.5
Grading:
Vinyl: NM (Near Mint): Like new; clean and shiny with no marks VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus): Very close to near mint VG+ (Very Good Plus): Light marks but nothing that can be felt with a fingernail (visual grade); no loud pops or clicks, no audible distortion from groove wear (play grade) VG (Very Good): Significant scuffing and/or marks (visual grade); pops and ticks may be heard in some passages, an amount of audible groove wear is possible, no skips (play grade) VG- (Very Good Minus): Heavy scuffing and marks likely to cause significant surface noise and/or audible groove wear G (Good): Comparable to VG- but skips
Jacket: NM: Like new; no creases, ring wear or seam splits VG++: Very close to near mint VG+: Has one more more of the following: light crease, light ring wear, light wear at the corners, small seam split VG: Has one or more of the following: multiple creases, multiple seam splits, moderate ring wear, moderate wear at the corners VG-: Low end of the VG spectrum
