Benny Golson New York scene Farmer-Gryce-Shihab Contemporary yellow monoBenny Golson's New York scene CONTEMPORARY C 3552 (USA) mono yellow label - no deep groove - rec. on October 1957 and originally issued in 1958. Probably this copy is a crossover pressing between the first and the second issue. Labels do not have the deep groove and the address on bottom of back cover does not has the postal code. It means that this copy has been possibly released in early 60's. Has the original inner sleeve with the Contemporary issues until 1963

Clean labels with light spindle wear Playing grading : record is EX plays with a light occasional background noise and few light occasional tics Cover grading : cover is EX- to EX has light wear to edges, corners and to spine. Bottom right corner is lightly bumped. Also a very light ringwear on front and light rubbing on back cover
