Description

Benny Golson’s “New York Scene” with Wynton Kelly & Art Farmer 1958 first deep groove pressing Contemporary Records (# C 3552 mono) in a framed coated cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Excellent (EX). It plays very well with great fidelity and barely any background noise. There are no ticks. Visually, the vinyl’s surface is exceptionally clean & glossy with just faint surface marks. The following is on the runout groove:


  • Side A): (stamped) LKL•12•161•D3 H

  • Side B): (stamped) LKL•12•162•D6 H (NOTE: on the “162” the last numeral is crossed out with the “2” below it)


The outer case is also Excellent (EX). The framed coated front cover is clean & smooth with barely any wear. The back cover is also smooth & clean with a few tiny spots and hardly any wear. The spine and both seams are EX with only the slightest wear to the spine & bottom seam. There are no splits and the cover is very sturdy. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.

Shipping via USPS Priority Mail. This item will also be insured for the full sale value at my cost.


NOTE:  This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
