Description
On offer is "Benny Goodman The Golden Age Of Swing". This is a white leatherette album by RCA Victor Limited Edition Number E 12. It includes a 15 page illustrated biography of Benny Goodman by Fred Reynolds. This is an album of 5 records with 60 recordings of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, Trio and Quartet. It includes vocals by Martha Tilton, Helen Ward, Margaret McCrae, Francis Hunt, Joe Harris; and, on "'Taint No Use" Mr. Goodman sings. The 33RPM records are in their original paper sleeves. The album measures 12 1/2" X 14" X 1" and weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces. The owner, a knowledgeable collector, tells me these records have never been played. I am not an expert, but have inspected them and find no flaws of any kind. The album and pages have age appropriate toning at the edges. Please view my photographs for more description.
