Sunbeam SB 116-127 "Benny Goodman At the Madhattan Room 1937-1938" You are bidding on a 12 LP box set containing broadcast material by the Goodman orchestra and small groups from the Madhattan Room of New York's Pennsylvania Hotel, including a number of selections that were never recorded commercially by the Goodman band. In addition, the announcer on some of these broadcasts is none other than Mel Allen, the future New York Yankees announcer! (How about that?) The LPs come in a box set with a 16-page booklet containing notes, photos and recording data. The LPs are in new condition (never played), booklet is almost new and box is in very good condition. If payment is not received, then 2) the item will either be re-listed or offered to the next highest bidder, the case will be closed and appropriate feedback left. In addition, I reserve the right to prohibit non-paying bidders from participating in future auctions. I hope that neither of these actions will be necessary.
