Description

Up for sale is a Columbia Royal Blue 78 rpm record of Benny Goodman and his Music Hall Orchestra. This is record #2958-D, "Bugle Call Rag" and "Nitwit Serenade". This record comes with its original sleeve. I would rate it as VG to EXC condition. It is super clean and shiny and plays exceptionally clear. Very close inspection reveals just a few faint stress marks (possibly from having other records stacked on top?) that have no effect on the playing of the disc. I've been involved with phonographs and records for over ten years and have never seen these records before. This came from a private collector who knew which records were the best. I'd assume them to be quite rare and desirable, especially to a Benny Goodman fan. Be sure to check my other auction for another blue Columbia record.
