Description
For your consideration, an original issue (Columbia 2867-D, blue wax) of Billie Holiday’s second recording (complete with her credit typo’ed as “Halliday”), with Benny Goodman and His Orchestra: Riffin’ The Scotch. Flip side is Keep On Doin’ What You’re Doin’, vocal by Jack Teagarden. Both sides were recorded on 18 December 1933.
This copy is graded V+/V. There is noticeable greying in the grooves, but no cracks or chips. This copy comes from my personal collection, accumulated during research for my book, Benny Goodman: A Supplemental Discography.
