Recorded in NYC on probably June 28, 1897. Not listed in Spottswood's
"Ethnic Music on Records", nor in 78discography.com/Berliner.
Superb musical rendition: intermingled, polyphonic yodel,
probably three voices creating the atmosphere of sunrise in the
mountains ("Sonnenaufgang").
The music is very loud and clear over moderate surface noise,
making it a listening pleasure. The record surface has scuffs
and light scratches, also some typical depressons (pits), but
all this does not distract from the music!

needle, using no noise reduction for grading.

cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
more padding material for safe transport.
