Description

Berliner gramophone record: A Houmorous Budget, spoken by Burt Shepard, London  7",no. 1168
Comedic monologue about how a wife should treat her husband. 1902? Listening grade of E-, very clear.

A few flaws that to my ear do not sound: There is a half end chip at outer edge of record that does not go into playing area.  There is a narrow radial scratch that goes through the playing area, that to my ear, does not sound. There are two small clusters of either needle drops or scratches, one C-shaped, one L-shaped in one part of playing area, but again to my ear they do not sound. The record is a monologue that is unusually clear. The last image shows the radial scratch and shaped needle drops/scratches.
