Description

A pristine gatefold album by Keith Johnson and his Reference Recordings group associates.  This is truly an exceptional recording using purist techniques and pressed on two 45-rpm records;  included are mini-music reviews acclaiming how great: "...finest recording of a full symphony orchestra...a near perfect presentation of the orchestral soundstage...the bass drum is spectacularly real...the record is a must for anyone interested in hearing the state of the art in recorded sound...The strings have the sweetness and naturalness of those heard live; the brass that hing of golden glint ...and the big concert-bass drum sounds like one...has overtones ..one can hear how tightly its skin is tunes...the dynamics are very, very wide..."  The LP playing sides have been professionally cleaned using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine with dedicated vinyl wash solution, vacuumed dry and de-magnetized using a Furutech "De-Mag" instrument.  On the back cover is the warning about how to play and avoid blowing out your amplifier(s) or speaker elements.  The music "capture" on this record is the best I've heard in 40 years.  Recorded in Symphony Hall, Salt Lake City:  Recording Engineer: Keith Johnson, Mastering by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab, Matrix: Rick Goldman, KM Records.  This album was purchased new by me and has been lovingly cared for.
