Description

This is the Classic Records re-issue of the RCA Victor LSC-1900 Charles Munch leading the Boston Symphony Orchestra playing Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique on four one-sided 200-gram 45 RPM LPs (and fantastic it is).  Purchased new by me and the LP playing sides have been professionally cleaned using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine with dedicated vinyl wash fluid, vacuumed dry and de-magnetized using a Furutech "De-Mag" instrument.  Included is some documentation about the original recording and this re-issue; "...if you want to know how well your system can capture something close to the real thing occurring in a real space, this cut ("Un Bal")/Waltz) will tell the tale.  Each of the four LPs is not perfectly flat; however, the LPs track well and play without any discernible wow or flutter.
